"The Pantomime is fantastic! Oh yes it is..." - Film4

Our recent 30min documentary "The Pantomime" made in the sleepy hamlet of Batheaston has garnered fantastic praise from Film4 with a four and a half star review!

The film follows the staging of the annual amateur Christmas Panto in a small British village and all the tantrums, politics and drama that come with it. Described by Film4, who funded 'Slumdog Millionaire', as being:

"The rich sort of drama you rarely find on the great stages of the world." and with a cast that "could easily have been culled from an Alan Bennett play... or Nick Park's 'Creature Comforts'."

Another reviewer adds:

"Like Dormehl and Atkinson's previous outings on wrestling and comic strip legend Roy of the Rovers, this is a definite must-see. They are certainly one of the most exciting documentary-making teams working at the moment. As they are also the duo behind the ten pound horror feature film though, their foray into the world of cinema should substantially add to their already growing reputations. These guys are good!"

I have posted a ten minute highlights film of 'The Pantomime' in the Members area so sign up now to take a look and let me know what you think.
